Metal & rust: Maybe there's hope after all is a research on failure and possibilities, that investigate strategies of collaborative survival in failed systems and fragile structures. Inspired by extreme political, economic and environmental conditions: life in Beirut and glaciers; what can we learn from these startegies to navigate uncertainties together? What kind of presence do these strategies require and what kind of individual and collective body to they demand? Departing from the image of a falling glacier, Dominique Tegho and Milena Stein resort to startegies of collaborative survial as tools to organize bodies, movement, and relations in space, to build dances of anarchy.
